Asbestos-caused Mesothelioma victim Ray R. and his two
daughters
"On October 21, 1999 I was found
to have malignant mesothelioma. Prior to this time I did
not have any symptoms at all. Since that time I have been
through chemotherapy, several CAT scans, blood tests,
x-rays, and finally surgery on June 11, 2001, to try to
remove a large tumor in my abdominal lining area. Nothing
has worked to reduce the tumor or pain as of this date.
I have been on strong pain medication for over a year
and a half.
"I was told in 1999
that I maybe had five years to live. At that time I contacted
Mr. Michael Serling, attorney. He and his entire staff
took a very personal interest in my case, for which I
will remain forever grateful. I am 57 years old and have
two teen age daughters with me. I have been able to travel
with my daughters when and where we want, purchase the
vehicles of my dreams, and remodel my entire house exactly
as we want it. I may or may not have much time but what
I do have is of the best quality anyone could ever imagine,
except for the pain and illness which will never go away.
"I can never express
my gratitude to Mike Serling and all of his associates
for the long and hard work they did for me. With the results
of my personal injury lawsuit, I can live the remainder
of my life with my daughters free of any financial worries
and know that my children will be financially independent
in the future."
